Who are we?

We love the next generation

We love sharing the goodness of God

We love children as Jesus loved the children, looking at the potential in every one of them and encouraging and helping them grow into everything they are predestined to become.

We love coming together regally to worship the Lord Jesus through song and praise and the sharing of bread

We are a growing community gathered together from the various Clay villages and surrounding areas of beautiful Mid Cornwall.

We range from 2 to 82 and come from various warps of life, but coming together in one heart.

We share a hunger to come together to build each other up, worship God and serve both one another and the larger community.

We want to share the good news and let others know the love of God through our obedience and acts of kindness

We love worshipping

We love sharing what God has done in our lives and how he can do the same for others.

We love helping

We love helping the community, though initatives such as "CAP" Chrisitans against Povety and also directly within the local area with food parcels and help for the poor.

Our team

Pastor Alan & Lucy Higgin

Alan & Lucy head up Clays Community Church. They are family people with 11 children to their name (Yes they are all theirs.)

They originate from opposite ends of the country; Alan from Scotland and Lucy from Cornwall, and have been married since 1999, having met at Regents Theological College in Nantwich.

They have a heart not only for the family at home, but for the family of God - the Church. They believe that families are the building blocks of society.
